ESSEX, CT - April 25, 2012 - TPR2 has announced that a new coating, Fireshell® BMS-TC has passed multiple testing to the latest 2011 NFPA 286 revision, 2009 IBC 803.1.2, and meets NFPA 101 life safety code.

BMS-TC boasts unsurpassed coverage rates passing the NFPA 286 room corner burn test at:

12 dry mils over Bayseal OC at 83 sq. ft./gal.
14 dry mils over Bayseal CC at 90 sq. ft./gal.

BMS-TC is a low-odor, one-part, water-based latex coating that can be applied with standard 0.75 g.p.m. paint sprayer--half the size required by other thermal barrier products. It cleans up easily with water and won’t gum up or clog spray equipment. It can be installed as quickly as 2 hours after the foam is sprayed and can be applied in a single-pass saving labor-cost and time.
