Spray Foam Team Joins ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
HAMPTON ROADS, VIRGINIA - February 14, 2011 - A spray foam insulation firm has joined the team for the latest project by the hit ABC show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
The show, which combines the do-it-yourself appeal of This Old House with the reality formula created by programming like Extreme Makeover, chooses families facing some difficult personal circumstances and aims to help by completely refurbishing their residences.
In this case, Beverly Hill and Fred Burdette of Hampton Roads, Virginia have given their time and energy as foster parents to more than 35 foster children, in addition to their two biological kids and six more daughters adopted from the foster system.
LINE-X Protective Coatings of Huntsville, Alabama will donate both materials and labor to give the couple's new home the best possible spray foam insulation and coatings so that it is as efficient as possible.
"LINE-X has a long history of giving back to our communities and is excited to be working with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on this project," said Kevin Heronimus, the chief executive officer of LINE-X. "Our local Virginia Beach franchisee will be on site along with corporate staff working closely with the designers of the show to support the project by donating both ASPART-X floor coating and our spray on insulation FOAM-GUARD. These products will help maintain the house and make it a more affordable and enjoyable place to live."
