NRCA Announces 2016 Gold Circle Awards Winners

ORLANDO, FL – March 7, 2016 – The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) awarded eight of its member contractors with the prestigious Gold Circle Award during its 129th Annual Convention held Feb. 17-19 in Orlando. The award recognizes outstanding workmanship and contributions to the roofing industry, including unique roofing-related jobs, programs, and services. Additionally, two companies received a Gold Circle Safety Award for demonstrating superior safety measures.

The 2016 Gold Circle Awards were presented in the following categories:

Outstanding Workmanship: Low-slope

Winner:
  •  Castro Roofing of Texas LP, Dallas, for Southern Methodist University Owen Arts Center, Dallas.

Honorable Mention:
  •  Chamberlin Roofing & Waterproofing, Farmers Branch, Texas, for Dallas Love Field, Dallas
Finalist:
  •  Korellis Roofing Inc., Hammond, Ind., for Chinatown Public Library, Chicago


Outstanding Workmanship: Steep-slope

Winners:
  •  Baker Roofing Co., Raleigh, N.C., for Kansas State House, Topeka
  •  Midland Engineering Co., South Bend, Ind., for Cathedral of St. Paul, Birmingham, Ala.
Honorable Mention:
  •  B & M Roofing of Colorado Inc., Frederick, Colo., for Belcaro Mansion, Denver
Finalists:
  •  Ruff Roofers Inc., Baltimore, for Gunston Hall, Mason Neck, Va.


Innovative Solutions: New Construction

Winner:
