Applegate R-Foam's enhanced quality control equipment makes use of a Foam On Ratio Device (F.O.R.D.) to monitor the pressure and flow of pre-expanded foam insulation. The F.O.R.D uses a computer to regulate the ratio of the foam mixture, and if the mixture goes off ratio than the F.O.R.D. automatically shuts down the machine.
The F.O.R.D. is currently available on the Heuer II trailer, along with Applegate's R and C pre-expanded foams. R-Foam is optimized for installation in existing walls even when stuffed with fiberglass batts; while C-Foam is crafted for CMU walls. Applegate additionally offers several different turn-key insulation rigs, training, sales, and marketing support along with SPF, cellulose, and cotton insulations.
