USP Partners With Super Anchor to Offer Fall-Arrest OSHA Compliance, While Reducing Tripping Hazards

BURNSVILLE, MN – October 22, 2013 – USP Structural Connectors, a MiTek Industries company, announces the national availability of its MAX X-Line fall-arrest system. The MAX X-Line fall-arrest system is designed to keep contractors safe in work locations that require protection, while helping them comply with OSHA's new stringent fall-arrest regulations. The new OSHA rules require contractors to use guardrails, personal fall arrest systems, or safety nets on all roofs with slopes exceeding 4/12 when working six feet or more above a lower level.

In addition to offering increased safety and OSHA compliance, USP and Super Anchor Safety have found that the MAX X-Line fall-arrest system can reduce jobsite tripping hazards. This is accomplished, in part, by incorporating a pneumatic air hose within the fall-arrest system's lifeline, allowing contractors to eliminate the unsafe presence of a pneumatic air hose in addition to a lifeline beneath their feet when they are working. In yet another innovation by USP, the MAX X-Line lifeline can be clipped into a USP permanent, gasketed anchor that can be install by attaching it to the structure's framing.
