Spray Foam Marketing Team Complete SPF Training Program
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – August 1, 2011 – The sales and marketing team for Graco High-Performance Coatings and Foam recently completed the SPF Chemical Health and Safety Training Program sponsored by the Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) of the American Chemistry Council (ACC).
“It’s critical that Graco and its distributors stay current with the latest safety practices for the spray foam industry,” says Doug Brady, director of sales and marketing, Graco High-Performance Coatings and Foam. “CPI did a great job of outlining the safety and personal protection measures in their online training course. With the influx of new people into the industry, training is more important now than ever before. I would encourage everyone company and individual associated with the spray foam market to take CPI’s course.”
The training is comprised of 12 units, including information on SPF ingredients, safe use, handling, and disposal of SPF, and safety control measures including engineering controls, work practices, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Available at www.spraypolyurethane.org/, the course takes about two hours to complete.
