SPFA Industry Excellence Awards Submission Deadline is December 9

DALLAS, TX - December 1, 2011 - There is still time to submit projects for the SPFA Industry Excellence Awards for the chance to give your organization the recognition it deserves for superior work in spray foam application. The deadline to submit projects is December 9, 2011. 

On February 1, 2012, SPFA will host the Industry Excellence Awards Luncheon and announce the winners. The luncheon is a part of the annual SPFA Spray Foam Conference & Expo, this year being held in Dallas, Texas from January 30 to February 2, 2012.

“SPF is one of the best all around insulation and roofing technologies available,” SPFA wrote in a press release. “The adoption rate for SPF over the past 10 years tells the story.  But as is the case with every story, ours needs some main characters!”

A panel of industry experts will serve as the judges who will select these “main characters”, or projects that stand out from the rest in excellence. The judging process will be blind, meaning that judges will not know to whom the entries belong, so that the selection will be based solely on the quality of the project. 

Awards will be presented for the following categories:

1. Residential wall SPF- 1st and 2nd place
2. Commercial wall SPF- 1st and 2nd place
3. Roof SPF< 40,000 ft sq - 1st and 2nd place
4. Roof SPF> 40,000 ft sq - 1st and 2nd place
5. Specialty Applications - 1st and 2nd place

When you win an Industry Excellence Award, you get:

• a crystal award etched with your company name
• a high quality pop-up banner identifying you as a winner of the 2012 SPFA Contractor Excellence Awards that can be used in your office, at trade or industry events 
• a media kit prepared for you to go back home with all of the resources, model press release, pictures, etc for distribution to your local media
