Northeast Spray Foam Conference Scheduled for May 9th-May 12th
LINCOLN, NH - April 12, 2011 - Spray Foam Distributors of New England, Inc. will present the Fourth Annual Northeast Spray Foam Conference from Monday, May 9th to Thursday, May 12th, 2011. Held at the Indian Head Resort in Lincoln, NH, the event offers four days of informative presentations, hands on training and SPFA Accreditation courses. The conference typically draws over 40 attendees travelling from all over the Northeast and beyond.

Four of the classes offered at the conference are the first in a series of six accreditation classes offered by the Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance (SPFA). Once all six classes have been successfully completed and inspections have been performed on their work, the attendee can become fully accredited by the SPFA for roofing and building envelope applications. The classes included at this particular event that count towards SPFA accreditation are “SPFA 101: Fundamentals of Spray Polyurethane Foam,” “SPFA 101-BE: Fundamentals of Spray Polyurethane Foam and Covering Systems for the Building Envelope,” “SPFA 101-R: Fundamentals of Spray Polyurethane Foam for Roofing Applications” and “Fundamentals of SPF Health and Safety,” all of which are instructed by spray foam consultant Mason Knowles.
Other presentations scheduled throughout the conference include “OSHA Health and Safety Regulations” by Mason Knowles, “Engineered Wood, Sustainability and Green Building Practices” by Jean-Marc Dubois of Nordic Engineered Wood, “Marketing in the Digital Age” by Doug Commette of SprayFoam.com and “Sales and Marketing for the SPF Industry” presented by Mason Knowles for the Spray Foam Educational Institute. There will also be equipment presentations by various manufacturers. Another highlight of the event will be the giveaway of a Graco Fusion Clear Shot Gun.
