ASTM D08, Committee on Roofing presented Mason Knowles with its prestigious "Distinguished Leadership Award" The award second only to D08's "Cullen" Award for lifetime achievement was presented to Knowles in recognition of his "more than 10 years of outstanding leadership and personal committment to Committee D08 and particularly Subcommittee D08.06 on Spray Polyurethane Foam Roof Systems." ...
Mr Knowles has served as chairman of the Spray Polyurethane Foam Roof Systems Subcommittee for over 10 years and was the draft author of many of the standards adopted by ASTM dealing with SPF roofing systems including, The Standard Guide for Repair and Recoat of SPF Roofing Systems and the Standard Specification of SPF Used in Roofing.
