IFTI Reveals How Code Compliance Leads to Money Savings

IRVINE, CA – March 17, 2015 – Fire protective coatings have undoubtedly aided the SPF industry’s growth, as many of the jobs available today weren’t practical before coatings–in many instances, you couldn’t competitively bid them. However, there have been growing pains as the industry has grown and the use of coatings has expanded.

Specifically, it has been somewhat of a challenge to generate industry-wide compliance with building codes pertaining to fire protective coatings over SPF. Even today, a thorough understanding of said code requirements is to some degree a premium offering among applicators.
